A Counselling Center for the Psychological and overall well-being and development of Persons has been set up, when Late Shri Jagdish Wagh the then Gen Secretary of IRCS – Goa State conducted many discussions with then Governor of Goa & President of IRCS- Goa Mr. S.C. Jamir in 2005, when they realized that a National Mental Health Programme document then, stated that over 30 million Indians are in need of some form of Mental Health Care.

 In August 2006, a Counselling Center was started at the IRCS Goa HQ. Shri Adolph M.D. Castellino – MS (Couns & Psy), MBA (Ind Mngmnt), PGD (Ind Couns) was appointed as Counsellor & Psychotherapist. The Center has been renovated & refurbished in 2012. Since then to date the Counselling Center has benefitted many individuals.

 WHO – World Health Organization states that the emotional health of humanity is declining, that cases of depression, nervous anxiety and psychosomatic disorders are on the rise.

 Psychological Counselling is helpful in not only dealing with various issues that one may face, but also in improving and developing their overall well-being. With this in mind Mr. Adolph Castellino also conducts Awareness Programs as well as Workshops in Stress management, Critical Incident Stress Handling, Post-Traumatic Stress Handling & Time Management.
